Silicon Soap

Letter to the Soap

anonymous author - May 26/98

I was in the ghost cloud Friday evening when the WA rep. was making those
announcements and I have seen one of Jean-Paul's performances. I happen to agreed that there needs to be more and uniform enforcement of some rules. But I feel the most important point is being overlooked both by those opposed to such actions and by those who shout "censorship" or "free speech" when action is taken. The most important point is that it seems most members of Hotel want something done about someone else. It seems the managers of this world are responding to an overwhelming sentiment to do something, yet every time they do something, one or more loud vocal groups screams "not us! its them causing the problem."

Well as one member of the largest group in Hotel, the group that would like
all of you to just think a moment before you shout or yell. As a member of
the largest paying group in Hotel, those of us who enjoy this place and simply
want to do that. As a member of this group, I can no longer be silent. But
isn't it a shame that I feel I must speak out anonymously, for fear of being
attacked by cowards hiding behind their keyboards.

Its a nice place but it cannot serve everyone, if everyone shouts "Me First!"

(Butthead says : ME FIRST!! )
